Deep and chocolatey, like dark cocoa, with a twist of orange peel and a hint of molasses sweetness. Big flavor that finishes clean instead of heavy. Easy-drinking but still feels like a treat.
Out of our entire collection, this is my favorite — it is absolutely delicious! The orange keeps it light, but not fruity. I tend to drink this on 'easy' days.
Named for the soft bluish cast its beans take on during Giling Basah — the traditional Indonesian wet-hulling method — Bali Blue is grown high in the volcanic Kintamani highlands of central Bali, where cherries are hand-picked, sorted, and dried on raised beds in two careful stages. The bulk of Bali's coffee comes from small family farms that tend just a few acres alongside citrus trees in the rich soil of Mount Agung. Growers organize under Subak Abian, a system of sustainable farming rooted in a 1,000-year-old philosophy of harmony between people, land, and spirit — which means no pesticides or synthetic fertilizers ever touch these trees.
