This Month’s Focus
Each month, a portion of our proceeds is directed to a non-profit we believe in — organizations doing real work in human healing and growth.
Right now, and through the end of August, that non-profit is Louder Than Silence — providing long-term care, community, and resources to survivors of sexual violence. Their line — “Community is the antidote” — says it best.
Louder Than Silence is also the cause behind Luminaries: Women Leaders Who Light the Way — a new anthology from thirteen women writing honestly about leading, surviving, and rebuilding. One of the authors, Carrie Quintanilla — cofounder of ModOps Consulting — is a close friend, and we’re proud to sponsor the book’s launch this August.

About Us
We chose the name Castor & Pollux Grind for two very specific reasons:
- Our founder is a Gemini — the sign named for the twins Castor and Pollux, mortal and divine.
- More importantly, the name represents the duality of our company: a for-profit business that serves with a non-profit mission.
To represent Castor — the mortal, adventuring twin — we celebrate success at every stage of the climb.
To represent Pollux — the divine, benevolent twin — a portion of our proceeds will always be dedicated to the healing and growth of others.
And we LOVE coffee. So we did something about it: we started a coffee company.
To get it right, we chose a roaster that is family-owned and operated, sourcing only from co-ops and family-owned farms worldwide — picked for more than just the product: real integrity, real operational discipline.
