Castor & Pollux Grind respects your privacy. This describes what we collect and how we use it for castorandpollux.com.

Information we collect

• Account: email address and password (passwords are stored hashed by our auth provider).
• Orders: name, shipping address, email, order history.
• Payment: processed by Luqra. We do not store full card numbers.
• Marketing: email address and consent status if you opt in.
• Usage: basic technical/site data. We do not use third-party analytics.

How we use it

To fulfill and ship orders, manage your account and subscriptions, provide support, send transactional emails (order/shipping/auth), and — only with consent — marketing emails.

Service providers (subprocessors)

We share data only as needed with: Shopify (commerce), Luqra (payments), Supabase (authentication & database), Resend (email delivery), our fulfillment partner Dripshipper / Temecula Coffee Roasters (shipping), Anthropic (AI concierge), Vercel (hosting), NameSilo (domain/email forwarding).

Marketing emails

We send marketing email only to those who opt in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing is honored automatically. Transactional emails (order, shipping, account) are not marketing and may still be sent.

Cookies

We use cookies necessary for login and cart only. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies.

Data retention

We retain order and account data as long as your account is active or as needed for legal/tax obligations.

Your rights

Depending on your location (e.g., California/CCPA, EU/UK GDPR) you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. To request, contact info@castorandpollux.com.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
