From Sidama, in the birthplace of coffee itself, grown at extraordinary altitude — 2,000 meters and above — and processed naturally, dried slowly in the sun the traditional way. It's thought the coffee plant was first discovered in Ethiopia, where coffee is far more than a crop — it's culture, and the country's main export, supporting the livelihoods of more than 15 million farmers and workers. This lot is grown on family farms in the Oromia zone and processed at a local cooperative.
